Hi, I’m Marta.
I built The Growth Curve to offer the kind of guidance I believe young people deserve: clear, curious, and honest.
My PhD is training me to ask good questions, notice patterns, and make complicated ideas easier to understand. My role as an admission application reader showed me what makes a strong personal statement that gets through to the next round. Those are the same skills I bring to admissions coaching. I won’t hand you a polished script or tell you there is one perfect choice. I’ll help you think, decide, and write with more confidence.
Why the name?
Growth rarely looks like a straight line.
In science, a growth curve begins slowly. There is a lag while a system adjusts, then a period of rapid change, and eventually a plateau. Choosing a university path can feel much the same.
The quiet part matters. It is where you test ideas, rule things out, and begin to understand yourself. My job is not to rush you past it. It is to help you use it well.
I’m based in Bristol and work online with students across the UK, keeping the process personal and the number of people I support deliberately small.
